the Netherlands, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the tax year \u2013 it\u2019s set to the current year by default, but you can change it if you need calculations for a different year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your average hourly rate (excluding VAT) \u2013 input how much you earn per hour, not including VAT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the number of billable hours per year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add any additional income sources \u2013 input the total annual amount (excluding VAT).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your annual business expenses (excluding VAT) \u2013 include expenses related to your business, e.g. equipment, office, insurance, car.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check whether you meet the hourly criterion (1225 hours\/year) \u2013 if yes, the calculator will include applicable tax deductions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check if you qualify for the start-up deduction \u2013 if you\u2019re a new ZZP and eligible for the startersaftrek, tick this
