Advance Payment and Other New Features

From now on, eFaktura.nl users can add an advance payment (prepayment) to their invoices. This long-awaited option helps better match the invoice to real business situations – especially in the construction sector.

With this new option, the “Amount to pay” field may be different from the “Total amount”, if an advance payment has been added.
If there is no advance payment, both amounts will be the same.

We hope this update makes it easier for you to create invoices that clearly reflect the transaction details – and are easy to understand for your clients too.

Other new features in invoicing:

  • SHARE – you can now share the invoice via messaging apps like WhatsApp (available in the PRO subscription). Please note: this is not an official method of sending invoices, so always send it by email from the system first.
  • PRINT – need a hard copy? Send the invoice straight to your printer.
  • Save client under a different name – if your client runs multiple businesses under one KVK number, you can now save them in your system more than once, under different trade names.
